Job details

6-8 years of industry experience in electrical construction and demonstrated technical knowledge applied to previous electrical construction projects completed. Project history should include New York City and New York State agencies such as DASNY, PANY/NJ, NYC SCA, MTA, DEP, etc. Proficiency with all basic MS Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Primavera/Microsoft Project or other Project Management software, as well as Cost Coding software.

Responsibilities

• Project evaluation and cost control

• Monitoring project progress using cost coding software, verifying reports against actual field conditions

• Remedying cost over runs

• Timely issuing and tracking of RFPs

• Change order negotiation, tracking and implementation

• Liaising with Engineering team to develop project-specific budget and timeline for completion using project management software

• Liaising with Engineering team to maintain project schedule
